My name is Glorya. I am Afro-Caribbean from Haiti. I joined TFIA a month after graduating from The University of Florida, and TFIA has been my home away from home ever since. I am proud to be part of a team contributing to the company's growth while providing outstanding customer service to our insureds, agents and lenders.
My name is Donovan. I graduated from the University of Florida in August 2017. I was thrilled to start working for TFIA just a couple months post-graduation. I love animals, music, and sports. Working for TFIA has really provided me an enhanced sense of self, and I continue to grow every day that I work here. A good career pays the bills and provides a sense of accomplishment, but a GREAT career is one that is challenging, rewarding, and allows the employee to make a positive change in the lives of others. TFIA is a GREAT career.
My name is Thomas. Shortly before my graduation from the University of Florida in 2015, I accepted a job offer from TFIA. Though it is the only full-time opportunity I’ve known, TFIA has set the bar for what positive workplace entails. It’s an engaging environment where I’ve never been inclined to watch the clock, and I find fulfillment in knowing that I help people achieve a financial peace of mind.
My name is Jason. I relocated to Florida from New Mexico in 2017. The first thing that stood out to me about TFIA was how hospitable everyone was. The second thing was the professionalism all of the employees seemed to exhibit. To me it appeared that for the employees this wasn’t just a job they tolerated but a career they thoroughly enjoyed. My first impressions have since been confirmed and I look forward to continuing my professional growth and development with TFIA.
My name is Nicky. I graduated from the University of Florida in December 2016, and shortly after left my serving job of seven years to join The Flood Insurance Agency. What I love most about the TFIA team is the motivation each employee has to create the best customer experience for our insureds.
My name is Angelica. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 and initially sold life insurance before coming to TFIA. Working here has given me valuable life skills and has taught me how to be part of a great team. I couldn't accomplish anything without the help from my department.
My name is Kirk. Like many of my coworkers at TFIA, I graduated from the University of Florida shortly before getting hired by the firm. Since arriving at TFIA, I have learned an incredible amount and have grown as a individual. I like to write, play, and record music after (and sometimes before) work.
My Name is Omar. I am currently in my last year at the University of Florida. I joined the TFIA family back in July of 2017. Working for The Flood Insurance Agency is a rare opportunity, where the company’s goals center around the well-being of our clients, employees, and business partners equally.
My name is Kiki. Before joining TFIA, I spent seven years at a large insurance company that embraced a much more corporate dynamic. My favorite part about my job here is the close-knit relationships among the employees. I can truly say that I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with.
My name is Colton. I was raised in Tampa and I moved to Gainesville in 2015 after going to school in Nebraska and My life goal is to Kayak down the side of a mountain. TFIA is a fantastic company that is always putting our customers first. Going above and beyond for customers and agents is one of my favorite parts of my job!

My name is Jennifer. I am originally from New Jersey and relocated to Gainesville, FL in 2015 to reconnect with my high school sweetheart. Since joining the TFIA family, I have seen the company grow rapidly and could not be happier with being able to play a role in that success. Working in a fast-paced environment while being able to help our customers really makes my day.
My name is Sarah. I was born and raised in Gainesville, FL and joined The Flood Insurance Agency in March of 2014. While I had extensive insurance experience prior to TFIA, I pride myself in knowing that I now work for a company that makes it a personal goal to be fast, efficient and offer expert flood insurance knowledge to individuals and agents nationwide.
My name is Justin. I have a 4-year-old daughter who is certain she’s going to be a Disney princess when she grows up and a fearless 1 year old son. I’ve been with The Flood Insurance Agency for 9 years with 3 years of that time writing private flood insurance. Writing FEMA insurance certainly makes me feel like I have an adequate career, but it wasn’t until Private Market Flood started that I truly felt like I was changing the lives of our insureds. Hearing a few kind words from our insureds nearly every single day is what keeps me so encouraged to continue working for The Flood Insurance Agency.
My name is Kyle. I recently got married in September of 2017! After graduating from The University of Florida’s Business Program, I started working at TFIA. It’s been almost 2 years later and I have gained valuable experience and have met some really incredible people in a field I have never imagined myself being in (I have managed restaurants since the age of 16 and have done a ton of blue collar work as well.) Never did I envision I would now work in the insurance industry and Love it! I couldn’t imagine working for a more fast-paced, dynamic, life changing company.
My name is Taylor. I interned for TFIA during my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. I recently graduated and began my journey here as a full-time, licensed agent. The skills and lessons that I have learned from TFIA the past year are truly immeasurable. I could not be prouder to work alongside all of the great minds and spectacular individuals in our office.

My name is Reese. I graduated from UF in 2015 and decided to settle down in the Gainesville area with my wonderful wife. I am a game geek and enjoy playing all kinds of games whether on a screen or at a table. I also love technology and am always eager to find new ways to incorporate it into my personal and working life. I am excited to grow with TFIA and I look forward to the future!
